{"id":9867,"date":"2022-12-09T10:10:01","date_gmt":"2022-12-09T13:10:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/2022.aniu.org.uy\/sin-categorizar\/awards-ceremony-of-the-annual-thesis-and-final-paper-competition\/"},"modified":"2023-05-04T15:24:44","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T18:24:44","slug":"awards-ceremony-of-the-annual-thesis-and-final-paper-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/2022.aniu.org.uy\/en\/news\/awards-ceremony-of-the-annual-thesis-and-final-paper-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Awards ceremony of the annual thesis and final paper competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, December 6, as part of the year-end ceremony, the awards of the XIV edition of the annual competitions for doctoral theses, master\u2019s theses and final degree works, organized by the National Academy of Engineering, were announced.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The objective of this activity is to encourage and support the development of quality projects, with innovative content and linked to the national reality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is appropriate to thank the authors of all the papers, whether awarded or not, for their efforts and for the <strong>high average quality<\/strong> of all the papers we received,\u201d said Eng. Julio Fern\u00e1ndez, president of ANIU.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by Eng. Omar Paganini, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, and Eng. Ernesto Restaino, senior researcher at the Communication and Transfer Unit of the National Agricultural Research Institute (INIA).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to congratulate the Academy and congratulate, of course, all those who have nominated and are nominated for these awards, because somehow  <strong>are the seed of what the country needs in order to continue progressing<\/strong>\u201csaid Paganini. \u201cI wish we could enthuse more and more young people to take up this much needed profession (\u2026).
