Eladio Dieste"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The National Academy of Engineering of Uruguay announces the contest \u201cEladio Dieste: example of technical innovation in Uruguay\u201d, as a tribute to one of the founding members of the organization and with the aim of highlighting his technological innovations, the result of his talent and passion, as well as his life story.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Considering the extensive work of Eng. Dieste, the competition seeks to highlight especially the creation of structural typologies associated with ceramic material, as well as the construction procedures and specific tools that made them economically competitive.<\/p>\n<p>The works on this subject submitted must be unpublished and in Spanish, written by Uruguayan or foreign authors, presented personally or collectively.<\/p>\n<p>ANIU will award the winning entry a prize consisting of 200,000 Uruguayan pesos and will also pay for the production of an audiovisual presentation, provided that the winning material is suitable for this type of presentation.<\/p>\n<p>The academic committee that will act as jury will have three members, who will be members of the ANIU or invited guests of recognized international prestige.<\/p>\n<p>Those interested in participating in the competition will have until <strong>July 31, 2022<\/strong> to submit their proposals and until <strong>December 15, 2022<\/strong> to submit the final work.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/2022.aniu.org.uy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/concurso-eladio-dieste-bases-del-llamado.pdf\">Terms and Conditions (PDF file)<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Academy of Engineering of Uruguay announces the contest \u201cEladio Dieste: example of technical innovation in Uruguay\u201d, as a tribute to one of the founding members of the organization and with the aim of highlighting his technological innovations, the result of his talent and passion, as well as his life story.
