The National Academy of Engineering of Uruguay (ANIU) opens the call for a new edition of its academic competitions, aimed at recognizing quality, innovation and commitment to the national reality in the work carried out in the field of engineering.<\/p>\n
The 2025 edition includes two calls: the Engineering Final Project Competition, oriented to undergraduate works<\/strong>; and the Engineering Postgraduate Thesis Competition, which includes master\u2019s and doctoral theses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The purpose of both competitions is to encourage the development of original, relevant and technically sound solutions<\/strong>, and to promote the exchange of ideas among academic institutions, professionals and stakeholders in the productive sector.<\/p>\n It is aimed at students and graduates of engineering schools in the country<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Final projects approved after July 31, 2024 may be submitted.<\/p>\n Entries must be submitted electronically and accompanied by a descriptive video of up to 3 minutes<\/strong>, oriented to a technical audience.<\/p>\n The video should explain what was done, how it was done and why it is important<\/strong>, following the guidelines detailed in the regulations.<\/p>\n Individual or group work will be accepted, according to the rules of each faculty.<\/p>\n Master\u2019s or doctoral theses carried out at any university in the country or abroad<\/strong>, in the latter case by Uruguayan citizens, may be submitted, provided that the work is related to the national reality and has the participation of a co-supervisor from an Engineering School in Uruguay.<\/p>\n Theses must have been approved after July 31, 2024 and submitted in digital format.<\/p>\n Texts<\/strong> are accepted in Spanish or English,<\/strong> with abstracts in both languages.<\/p>\nFinal Engineering Project Competition<\/h2>\n
