Gast\u00f3n Milano, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genexus.com\">GeneXus<\/a>, made a historical review of the<strong> challenges that artificial intelligence has faced<\/strong> over the years, alluding to Winston Churchill\u2019s famous phrase: \u201cSuccess consists in going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Shagun Sharma, Data Scientist for Microsoft via TCS, who holds a master\u2019s degree in Data Analysis from the University of Illinois (USA), focused his presentation on explaining  <strong>the work being done by the Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab<\/strong>not only at its headquarters in Uruguay, but also in Redmond (United States), Munich (Germany), Shanghai (China) and Kobe (Japan).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aiotlabs.microsoft.com\/en\">Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Labs<\/a> are laboratories that offer personalized help from Microsoft technology experts to accelerate artificial intelligence projects. They are designed to help companies take their ideas from the concept stage to prototyping and testing, and to help organizations <strong>leverage artificial intelligence<\/strong> and IoT <strong>technologies<\/strong> to visualize, innovate and solve transformational challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, Eng. Eduardo Mangarelli, Dean of the <a href=\"https:\/\/fi.ort.edu.uy\">School of Engineering<\/a> at Universidad ORT Uruguay, gave a brief overview of the history of artificial intelligence and then focused on <strong>the impact of the ChatGPT launch<\/strong> worldwide. \u201cIn practice, we are all here for ChatGPT,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomehow, ChatGPT, as a technology, got directly into the world of language and we all have a direct association between language and intelligence.
